LeGrand Coffee House is hosting a one-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 20th, with food and drink specials being offered throughout the day at its brick-and-mortar location at 10 Green Street in Woodbridge. Also, from 11 AM to 1 PM, live music will be provided to create a fully vibrant atmosphere for everyone during lunch hours.
“I cannot believe it has already been one year since we opened up our doors at LeGrand Coffee House,” said Eric LeGrand, founder and CEO of LeGrand Coffee House. “To see the amount of support over the past year has been incredible. I am so thankful to my staff and everybody who is a part of our LCH family. I hope to see everyone this Saturday at the shop, and I cannot wait to find out what the next year has in store.”
After first launching as an online store in January 2021, the official opening of LeGrand Coffee House’s brick-and-mortar location took place on May 14, 2022. The opening was a culmination of nearly two years of hard work and preparation, and the perseverance that the business showed in overcoming obstacles along the way was directly representative of LeGrand himself. The LeGrand Opening featured many notable guests such as New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac and Rutgers Football head coach Greg Schiano. The community and media also came out in huge numbers, which led to an outstanding day of triumph and celebration for everyone in attendance.
Since opening its doors last May, LeGrand Coffee House has already experienced tremendous growth and national exposure, including its selection by the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Financial as their 2022-23 Buy Black Program winner. Among the many highlights of that partnership are the displaying of the LeGrand Coffee House logo throughout Prudential Center during Devils home games and on their helmets when the team is playing on the road. The Devils also experienced their most successful regular season in franchise history this year, winning 52 games (which is not so coincidentally the number forever linked to LeGrand) and accumulating 112 points.
In October 2010, LeGrand sustained a spinal cord injury at his C3 and C4 vertebrae while playing football for Rutgers University. Since that life-altering incident occurred, he has become a worldwide source of inspiration whose message of positivity has influenced a countless number of people throughout the world. Additionally, LeGrand has developed an incredible business and professional acumen, becoming an established entrepreneur, motivational speaker, sports analyst, philanthropist and author. In addition to LeGrand Coffee House, he has also launched Eric LeGrand Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and A Cup of bELieve Podcast in the past year.
