Funds Raised by Nightly Hayrides Will Support the Farm and its Animals During the Winter Months
Allaire Community Farm is excited to announce a Christmas Light Spectacular during the holidays, which will start on November 18th at the farm in Wall Township. The nightly events will function as a fundraiser to assist in the care and feeding of their animals while the farm is closed to the public during the winter months.
“I am very excited about our Christmas Light Spectacular,” said JoAnn Burney, co-founder of Allaire Community Farm. “Not only will it be a great fundraiser to support our rescued animals over the winter months, but we also hope to bring Joy to all who come through our gates. It is our sincere hope that this light spectacular will become something that the community looks forward to for years to come.”
During the Christmas Light Spectacular at Allaire Community Farm, guests will enjoy an old-fashioned hayride through the picturesque farm, which will be lit up with hundreds of thousands of lights. Tickets for the nightly hayrides are on sale now for $15 and can be purchased online (no walk-ins permitted). Group rates are available by contacting (333) 877-7770.
The goal of Allaire Community Farm is to utilize its rescued animals and working farm environment to nurture through nature. In particular, the farm is focused on helping special needs adults and children, teens facing mental health issues, veterans with PTSD and families battling cancer. This mission is accomplished through programs, events and outreach that uses animal therapy, equine therapy, organic gardening and vocational training. Allaire Community Farm also utilizes its gardens and greenhouses to support families who are battling cancer or facing financial hardships. Further, all funds generated through the farm are used exclusively to support the mission of its non-profit organization.
Located at 1923 Baileys Corner Road in Wall Township, New Jersey, Allaire Community Farm is open to the public on Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and on Sundays from Noon to 4 PM (closed on Mondays).
