The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) officially announced today its Best XI and Second XI selections for the 2018 NWSL season, with Sky Blue FC midfielder Carli Lloyd receiving a nod to the Second XI.

On the year, the two-time FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year scored four goals and also added an assist. Her 74th minute blast against the Orlando Pride in Sky Blue FC’s 2018 finale ended the season on a high note for the New Jersey club, which defeated the Pride at Yurcak Field that day, 1-0.

Recently named to a 20-player U.S. Women’s National Team roster for the upcoming Concacaf Women’s Championship, Lloyd made 18 appearances during her 2018 NWSL campaign and played a total of 1,563 minutes.
