The State of Connecticut has been incredibly well represented at the US Youth Soccer (USYS) Eastern Regional Championships, with 10 Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) teams advancing past group play and into the quarterfinals of the regional tournament. The USYS Eastern Regional Championships feature the most accomplished teams in the Northeast Region and are currently being hosted in Loudoun County, Virginia.

In addition to the teams that have already booked their ticket into the quarterfinals, which are being held on Monday, Revolution United FC B05 (18U Boys) and Danbury AC Connecticut B04/05 (19U Boys) are both playing in their final match of Group Play on Monday for a shot at advancing to the quarterfinals.
Teams competing at the Eastern Regional Championships are seeking a berth to the 2023 US Youth Soccer National Championships, which will be hosted from July 17-23 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The USYS National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing winners from each state the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.
