With the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention officially set for Jan. 17-21 in Philadelphia, New Jersey Youth Soccer coaches and staff are all anticipating the annual gathering of the national soccer community.
“This convention is a great place to learn, network and socialize with those from the world of soccer,” said Rick Meana, NJ Youth Soccer Director of Coaching. “I have been a member since 1987 and attended over 25 National Conventions. I learn something new every time.”
The 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, which is located at 1101 Arch Street in Philadelphia. More than 11,000 participants are expected for five days of coaching education and networking. Over 250 lecture and field sessions will be conducted by world-renowned presenters, and coaches will have the opportunity to expand their credentials by earning one or more of the 13 United Soccer Coaches diplomas or certificates that will be offered during the convention.
In addition to the lecture and field sessions, the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention will once again include an exhibit hall, which serves as the largest soccer trade show in the world. More than 400 exhibiting companies will be featured on the 180,000 square feet showroom. Additionally, Major League Soccer and the National Women’s Soccer League will conduct their 2018 College Drafts during the convention.
