Following the Sky Blue FC home match against the Chicago Red Stars on Sunday night, a group of NJ Youth Soccer players and parents had the special opportunity to join a photo with Sky Blue FC star and NJYS Ambassador Carli Lloyd.

“Playing this great sport in New Jersey provided me more opportunities than I ever could have imagined,” said Lloyd. “I appreciate these opportunities to give back and encourage young players to develop a similar love for soccer.”

Lloyd continues to prove herself as a leader and role model, generously posing with her fans after playing the full 90 minutes for Sky Blue FC. After the game, approximately 200 NJYS players and parents eagerly awaited the opportunity to take a photo with the U.S. Women’s National Team captain and two-time FIFA Player of the Year.
