Boxing fans were treated to a great night of entertaining fights this past weekend, as Evander Holyfield’s The Real Deal Boxing put on a jam-packed show at Resorts World Casino in Queens, N.Y. Thanks in large part to sponsors such as Pep Boys, last Saturday night proved that the sport of boxing is once again thriving in the State of New York.

“It was a great night of boxing,” said Ronson Frank, Uprising Promotions President. “There was a large turnout of boxing fans, and it was great to see the sport alive and well in New York. On behalf of The Real Deal Boxing and Uprising Promotions, we want to thank our sponsors, especially Pep Boys, for helping us continue to make these cards a reality. Also, I personally want to thank Evander Holyfield and The Real Deal Boxing for putting on a great night of boxing and having Uprising Promotions involved with the show.”

The card on Saturday night showcased rising prospects throughout the evening, from local New York fighters to pugilists who traveled long distances to perform on the stage at Resorts World Casino. New York has a longstanding history of boxing with an abundant amount of talent, and it is cards like this one by Evander Holyfield’s The Real Deal Boxing that enables those young fighters an opportunity to compete locally and develop a fan base. Additionally, it is sponsors like Pep Boys and the others who contributed to this card that make all of it a reality.

Uprising Promotions has worked with Evander Holyfield and the team at The Real Deal Boxing over the past few months to put on co-promotional bouts, and the two organizations are working on some additional projects that will be officially announced in the near future.
