Sky Blue FC will open its eighth season as a professional franchise on the road when it travels to Memorial Stadium to take on two-time NWSL Shield winner Seattle Reign FC on Saturday, April 15. The NWSL season will extend to a 24-match schedule in 2017 after being a 20-game slate over the past two seasons, with each of the 10 member clubs playing 12 home and 12 road fixtures each.
Through the NWSL’s partnership with A+E Networks, Lifetime will broadcast an NWSL Game of the Week every Saturday to provide fans throughout the country the opportunity to watch some of the best players in the world. A 30-minute pregame show will kick off each weekly broadcast.
