In the match, Sky Blue FC midfielder Nikki Stanton assisted on a Rosie Sutton goal in the 16th minute, which ended up being the game-winner in the contest. Stanton started and played the full 90 minutes in the fixture, as did Perth captain and Sky Blue FC forward Sam Kerr.
