Sportika Sports and Under Armour announced an unprecedented partnership today that will extend over the next five years. One of the key elements will be a co-branding of Sportika’s 170,000 square-foot facility by Under Armour, while the company will also outfit all Sportika student-athletes, coaches and staff members.

Under Armour is a Baltimore-based enterprise that has grown to become a global leader in performance footwear, apparel and equipment. The company was founded in 1996 by former University of Maryland football player Kevin Plank, who was simply looking to design a compression shirt that properly combatted perspiration. The technology eventually expanded into other areas of apparel and now stands as one of the most recognized brands across athletics and sports performance.

Sportika is a state-of-the-art facility that features one of the largest indoor turf fields in the State of New Jersey, along with seven high school regulation basketball courts. Additionally, the turf and court space can be transitioned for nearly any sport or activity. Sportika is also home to an academic center (Sportika-Brainstorm), a sports performance and physical therapy center (Sportika-Parabolic), Youth Mentoring Academy (Sportika-Goodworx), corporate meeting rooms and event spaces.
