Sportika Basketball and Zero Gravity Basketball are excited to announce a brand-new Winter Basketball League that will be coming to Sportika Sports’ state-of-the-art facility in Manalapan this December.

“We are excited to have two strong strategic partnerships to bring a high-level of basketball activity to Sportika,” said Jeffrey L. Jordan, Sportika CEO and acting Director of Basketball Operations. “With our venue and the expertise of Zero Gravity to provide leagues, tournaments and other programming at our premier facility, we look forward to offering an unmatched variety of opportunities for youth players and adults to participate at our seven-court, world-class complex.”

Zero Gravity is the largest basketball event operator in the United States and a member of the Jr. NBA Flagship Network. Zero Gravity will be bringing a proven model of success to Sportika Sports that originates in Massachusetts and has also expanded into Westchester, New York.

“We could not be happier to be working at one of the nation’s best facilities in basketball-rich New Jersey,” said Greg Kristof, CEO of Zero Gravity Basketball. “This is an exciting project to celebrate Winter Basketball and give more kids the chance to get quality games year-round.”

The newly founded league at Sportika Sports will be showcased as the Central Jersey Winter League. Games will be played on Saturdays at Sportika, where its seven regulation size basketball courts will ensure that all games are played under a single roof to eliminate any need for travel. Leagues will be held for boys in Grade 2-10 and girls in Grade 4-9, while teams will have an option to play in 8, 10 or 12 game seasons.

The first set of games for the Central Jersey Winter League will begin on December 15. For further details or additional questions, please contact Jay Cohen, Director of the Central Jersey Winter League, via email at jcohen@zerogravitybasketball.com or phone at (516) 592-1282.
