Big Blue Day Set for Oct. 29; Jets Fan Appreciation Day Planned for Nov. 19
Sportika Sports announced today that it is teaming up with strategic partner Peter Grandich and Company to host a pair of fan appreciation days for New York Jets and New York Giants supporters. Both events will be held at Sportika’s state-of-the-art facility that is located at 150 Woodward Road in Manalapan, N.J.
First up, Big Blue Day will take place at Sportika from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29. As a special guest, former Giants running back and two-time Super Bowl champion Lee Rouson will attend to meet-and-greet with fans. Following that event, Jets Fan Appreciation Day will be held at Sportika from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. On that day, fans will have the opportunity to get autographs and photos with all-time Jets great Joe Klecko, who will be in attendance as a special guest.
“Sportika, in association with our strategic partner Peter Grandich and Company, is looking forward to Big Blue Day and Jets Fan Appreciation Day, both of which will occur within our Sports Complex in Manalapan this fall,” said Jeffrey L. Jordan, Sportika CEO. “Sportika and Peter Grandich and Company have partnered to focus on the development and progression of the student-athlete through financial literacy. These two exciting days will broaden the appeal of Sportika and welcome in our community to share the experience of spending time with a diverse group of well-known former professional athletes from this area.”
Trinity Financial, Sports & Entertainment Management Company, a division of Peter Grandich and Company, has teamed up with Sportika to improve life skills and academic development of the student-athlete by means of personal mentoring. In particular, Peter Grandich and Company will work directly with the student-athletes at Sportika, as well as their families, in providing educational services that are related to financial literacy.
“I am most grateful to the good Lord to have two of the most important members of our Trinity team appearing at Sportika as our working relationship takes hold,” said Peter Grandich.
As a further development in their relationship, Peter Grandich and Company will soon host public events in the lounge at Sportika on select weekends and special weekday nights, beginning this fall. Free sports memorabilia drawings will be held during the gatherings, with Grandich being available to speak about his extensive history in the sports and financial industries.
Prior to the start of the program, Sportika will be holding a special open house for the Goodworx Youth Mentoring Academy at 7:00 p.m. next Tuesday, Sept. 26. The open house will be free to the public, and it presents the perfect opportunity for parents and students to learn about the unique Sportika-Goodworx youth mentoring and life skills program. The academy is available for 6-8th grade students, and its six-week fall session kicks off on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
