TSC Williamson 2012 Girls Showcase (13U Girls) had another impressive outing today in the Southern Regional Quarterfinals, advancing to the semifinals on the heels of a 4-1 victory over MS Rush 11G Premier (MS). TSC Williamson reached the elimination rounds after a runner-up finish in group play, registering six points (2-1 record) on a 7-5 goal differential in their bracket. Next up for them is a semifinal match-up with Greater Boca SFFA 2011 Girls Elite SUN (FL) on Wednesday.
Chattanooga FC 2010G Navy (14U Girls) extended their postseason after recording a third shutout in four matches on Tuesday, blanking MSC Lakers 2010 Girls Elite (LA) this morning by a tally of 2-0. Prior to the quarterfinals, Chattanooga FC went on an undefeated run in group play, winning their bracket on nine points (3-0 record) and outscoring their opposition, 9-1. Following the win today, Chattanooga FC officially booked a Wednesday reservation with Rising 10G Burgess (AR) in the semifinals.
One Knox 09 (15U Girls) remains unbeaten at the USYS Southern Regional Championships, defeating Solar Naizer 09G FDL (NTX) today by a score of 4-1. The 19U Girls Southern Regional Champion is now guaranteed to come from Tennessee, with two teams from the Volunteer State set to faceoff in the 19U Girls Final on Wednesday. Winners at the USYS Southern Regional Championships will move onto the USYS National Championships in July at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The USYS National Championships Presented by New York Life is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament.
