The State of Tennessee has been incredibly well represented at the US Youth Soccer (USYS) Southern Regional Championships, with 15 Tennessee State Soccer Association (TSSA) teams advancing past group play and into the quarterfinals of the regional tournament. The USYS Southern Regional Championships feature the most accomplished teams in the Southern Region and are currently being hosted in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Teams competing at the Southern Regional Championships are seeking a berth to the 2023 US Youth Soccer National Championships, which will be hosted from July 17-23 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The USYS National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing winners from each state the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.
