United Women’s Lacrosse League Partners with Gillette Stadium and Boston Cannons to Host Skills Clinic

The United Women’s Lacrosse League (UWLX) announced today that it will be partnering with Gillette Stadium and the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse to host a girls and boys skills clinic in the Empower Field House at Patriot Place on Sunday, Dec. 18th.

“It is great to be partnering with the Boston Cannons and Gillette Stadium for this event,” said Digit Murphy, UWLX/United Women’s Sports CEO and co-founder. “Our UWLX players are focused on being role models and to lead the young lacrosse players in the area. We are happy to announce that Kelsey McGovern of the Philadelphia Force will be at the skills clinic, along with the UWLX Champion Long Island Sound’s McKinley Curro.”

The cost of each clinic will be $45 per participant, with the aforementioned UWLX players serving as the lead trainers in the girls sessions.

This announcement expands the relationship between the UWLX and Gillette Stadium, with the two groups also collaborating for the upcoming 2017 NCAA Men’s and Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championships. Those tournaments will be held at Gillette Stadium from May 26-29th in 2017.
